Course Format:

This course will emphasize soils as fundamental components of forested ecosystems. In addition to classroom lectures and discussions, there will be numerous field-based exercises utilizing the UI Experimental Forest. The prerequisite for this course is Soil 205 (General Soils) or equivalent.
