* Thermo Jarrell Ash IRIS ICP: The IRIS Optical Emission
Spectrometer is in the family of inductively coupled argon
plasma (ICAP) optical emission spectrometers (OES) which
use Echelle optics and a unique Charge Injection Device (CID)
solid state detector to provide complete and continuous wavelength
coverage over the typical analytical wavelength range. The
IRIS is equipped with Radial Plasma for the widest range

*Perkin Elmer Infrared Spectrometer with Microscope Accessory
*Perkin
Elmer Infrared Spectrometer System
2000. The Spectrometer
comes equipped with a standard DTGS detector, a liquid Nitrogen
cooled MCT detector, and a far infrared FR-DTGS with a polyethylene
window.
Accessories
*A brand new Perkin Elmer Autoimage
Microscope equipped
with a MCT detector has been added to the Infrared Spectrometer.
The microscope includes a camera and viewing system that
magnifies the visable-light image of the sample so that you
can see, position and isolate the point of interest. Spectra
can be collected in transmittance or reflectance mode. The
microscope also comes equipped with an ATR crystal with a
tip size of 100um.
* Spectra-tech ATR Crystals: (Attenuated Total Reflectance
Spectroscopy) There are 3 types of ZnSe
crystals. Coupled
with the ARK, there is a 45 degree ZnSe trough crystal with
powder press and a 45 degree ZnSe crystal in a flow through
cell (picture). There is also a ZnSe Circle Cell with flow
through option.
* Perkin Elmer DRIFT Accessory: (Diffuse Reflectance Accessory-picture):
The Diffuse Reflectance Accessory provides a convenient and
sensitive method for analyzing opaque or highly scattering
solid samples such as pharmaceuticals, food products, soap
powders, coal, clay, paper, painted surfaces, polymer foam,
and catalysts. Fast, reproducible measurement; no alignment.
Flexibility for different sample holders to accommodate macro-
and microsampling cups, silicon carbide abrasive pads, and
diamond abrasive sampling sticks.

* Mettler Toledo DL50 Auto-titrator. The auto-titrator can
be used to perform end point, equivalence point and pH-stat
titrations, and to measure the potential and temperature
of solutions.
