The University of Idaho was the host for the 40th
National Soils Contest April 24-28, 2000 at Moscow, Idaho. The Idaho Natural
Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) performed the official pit judging for 10 practice
sites as well as 5 contest sites. There were 21 college teams that participated in
