Education:
M.S., Montana State; B.S., Montana State. Extension: Extension and
applied research programs to accelerate the development and transfer of
new technologies for conservation tillage systems in dryland cropping areas
to producers, extension agents, conservation districts, NRCS staff, and
the agricultural service industry representatives in eastern Washington
and northern Idaho; work directly with researchers, other extension specialists
and agents, and personnel from Ag agencies and industries to develop, evaluate,
and interpret research results, and integrate new technologies into management
strategies for conservation tillage systems. Technology development and
transfer methods include on-farm testing, PNW and state extension publications,
popular publications, articles for farm publications and newspapers, meeting
presentations, computer access to information, conferences, workshops, and
tours. |
