Education:
Ph.D., North Carolina State University; M.S., Montana State; B.S., University
of Kentucky. Research: Conducts research on the influence of wind-blown
materials on genesis, properties, and classification of Idaho soils. Evaluates
the influence of volcanic ash in soils of northern and central Idaho and
wind-deposited soil parent materials of the Palouse region and upper Snake
River Plain. Examines the influence of buried soils (paleosols) and hardpans
on hydrological and geochemical processes. Teaching: Soil genesis,
morphology and classification, soil mineralogy, intercollegiate soil judging.
Advising: Graduate major professor and graduate committee member. |
