Graduate Research Assistantship - Soil Physics

The Soil Science Division at the University of Idaho in Moscow, ID, invites applications for a full-time graduate research assistantship. The assistantship is available to a student, who wishes to pursue a PhD degree in Soil Science, and is interested in research on effects of freezing and thawing phenomena on hydraulic properties of homogeneous and fractured porous media. (Master students with outstanding records will be considered)

We are looking for a highly motivated graduate student with good mathematical and computational skills, and preferably a degree in Soil Science, Hydrology, Geophysics, or related field. We offer a three-year appointment with competitive salary.
