Graduate Research Assistantships - Soil and Water Management

The Soil Science Division at the University of Idaho in Moscow, ID, invites application for full-time graduate research assistantships.  Assistantships are available to students wishing to pursue a MS or PhD degree in Soil Science with an emphasis in soil and water management.  Research can by in one of the following areas:

-Non-thermal residue management in Kentucky bluegrass seed production systems

-Nutrient transformations and utilization in manure and composted manure amended soils      planted to sugar beets

We are looking for highly motivated graduate students with good communication, field, and laboratory skills.  The University offers three year (PhD) and two-year (MS) appointments with competitive salary.
