Graduate Research Assistantships - Soil Physics

The Soil Science Division at the University of Idaho in Moscow, ID, invites applications for full-time graduate research assistantships. Assistantships are available to students wishing to pursue a Masters or PhD degree in Soil Physics, with thesis research related to one of the following funded research projects:

- Infiltration and Runoff from Soils Undergoing Cyclic Freezing and Thawing
- Experimental Studies to Determine Hydraulic Properties of Swelling Porous Media
- Liquid Behavior in Plant Growth Media under Microgravity

We are looking for highly motivated graduate students with good mathematical and computational skills, and preferably a degree in Soil Science, Hydrology, Geophysics, or related field. We offer a three-year appointment with competitive salary.
